Time sure does fly these days. My nephew is about to turn one year old already, OMG! I feel like I just took his mommy’s maternity pics! Well a cake smash was DEFINITELY in order. What a fun shoot, I love this boy!!
Remember the beautiful ballerina I photographed a few months back? Well her little sis has major skills as well. She rocks at TNT (Tumbling and Trampoline)! Talk about a talented family, not to mention beautiful. Now their mom gets to display both her girls doing what they love best. My oldest daughter is on the same team and now I just may have to shoot her as well cause I’m loving how these came out! Great job Goose!!
Meet Mia. Isn’t she beautiful!? You would never know that she was born with a rare bone marrow disorder called Diamond Blackfan Anemia. Her body does not produce any red blood cells at all. She requires life sustaining blood transfusions every 3-4 weeks. Mia is alive today because of people who donate blood. I am so sorry to say that I have never donated blood. Not that I have not wanted to, It was just never brought to my attention how much it is needed. After meeting Mia and hearing her story my heart melted. She has shown me how important and easy it is to help save a life. She is the most polite, grateful, full of life little girl. She does not let this disorder get in her way of living life to its fullest. I’m so thankful for those who have donated blood for her. I have already scheduled my first donation and will now be donating on a regular basis. Mia is celebrating her 100th blood transfusion. Congratulations Mia, and thank you for opening my eyes to a whole new world. To find out how you can donate visit www.unitedbloodservicesaz.org.
My little is growing up so fast. I try hard to take each day slow and enjoy every moment, every word, every look out of her precious eyes. But I still feel like time goes by so fast that I’m going to miss something. Today we spent the morning trading chocolate chip cookies for cute little poses for her 3rd birthday pics. She’s no dummy! Happy Birthday my love.
Every ballerina dreams of the day she gets to slip her feet into a pair of pointes. I have recently learned that you are not simply handed pointe slippers, you must earn them. I spent the morning with the most beautiful, dedicated, hard working, young ballerina who has come to a “pointe” in her life she will never forget.
My nephew is gonna be famous! So he needed some headshots stat. This kid was born for the camera. With all the outfit changes I was thinking this was going to be a pretty long session. Not at all, he was so good I was able to get a few quick shots in each outfit just like that! Dear GAP KIDS…you are gonna want this one!
